Hey there!

My name is Lana Artley, and I am the proud owner of a dog named Nala, a chameleon named Blue, a bearded dragon named Yoshi, and a betta fish named Jelly Bean. My nephew named the betta. I completed my associate degree in photography, but I kindly ask you not to judge my images on this site as most of them will be raw and unedited. I aim to keep things authentic as you accompany me on this journey.

Traveling is a passion of mine, especially when it’s affordable or even free! The world has an abundance of low-cost and free experiences waiting to be discovered. Additionally, I find great joy in camping inside my SUV; there’s a unique charm in waking up to the sunrise through the rear window or listening to the rain on the roof while cozied up in my blanket.

Kayaking is another hobby of mine that I enjoy because I love being on the water. Although I had never tried it before, a friend convinced me of how much I would enjoy it. In 2020, when my graduation was postponed due to COVID, I took the opportunity to purchase a kayak. Despite never having tried it, I was confident that I would love it, and I was proven right!

For a long time, I have wanted to launch a blog, and with the encouragement of my friends, I have finally taken the leap and started this project. My goal is to share my travel experiences and offer tips on how to discover and enjoy things inexpensively or for free. Let’s start this journey of discovering hidden gems together.
